Sir Alex Ferguson's 25th anniversary at Manchester United is a great event in the sport's, and especially - Football's world. coming to think about it, I find it admirable that he has been the head of this team for 25 years! Not many people manage to stay at the same job for such a period of time, not to speak about being still valuable at the position taken. I do believe, however, that some of Ferguson's decisions are irrational, but at the end - the final result is important, and he does keep the team on top. What I do not like is that most of the times he is the centre of media attention, while for what I know, the team's role is enormous and the players should also be praised for what they do just as much.
I would like to conclude with what
"Sir Alex Ferguson's 25th anniversary at Manchester United is a remarkable achievement for a remarkable man and he has earned every plaudit he will receive.
I played under Alex as a manager for Scotland, faced him as a fiercely competitive opponent when I was captain of Liverpool and he was in charge at Old Trafford, then observed his great successes at close quarters as a pundit for the BBC. I have nothing other than total respect for him."
