Our Logo and Corporate Colours

What better than to adopt a Logo that instantly informs and identifies the viewer with the name of the Company? Afterabc recognises that brand awareness is critical to our long-term strategy; company name awareness is in reality, for an organisation doing business on the internet, an awareness of the URL – the domain name. Consequently, we have adopted as our main Logo our corporate name. Further, as a company with a global vision, our sites are accessible from the universal ‘.com’ and ‘.net’ domains in addition to the country specific domains such as ‘.co.kr’.

We often use duel colours for our Logo, the ‘After’ is typically styled in grey and ‘abc’ coloured in various colours to differentiate the channels operated by Afterabc, however, our design team is not constrained by house colours or style. Consequently, the Logo may be a single colour or multiple colours if appropriate for the aesthetics of the page and or subject.

We have further incorporated five straight vertical coloured lines into some of our corporate designs. The number five has very special significance both spiritually and symbolically, five isthe number of the harmony and the balance, and is the number of the divine grace. (In many of the great religions, Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Buddhism the number has considerable significance).  There are also five fundamental virtues: wisdom, love, truth, goodness and justice. Further, there are five oceans; the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic and Antarctic, and five geographic ‘spheres’ of the world: Europe, Asia, Africa, America, Oceania. Whilst the aforementioned is of interest to us, and we hope you, we use five lines because five symbolises; expansion, travel and adventure, - and because five coloured lines are visually attractive, (due to the reoccurrence of five in the human form) and represent the channels of Afterabc operating in parallel to each other.

The Company colours are blue, yellow, green, red and orange. Such were chosen for reasons of aesthetic taste, and because these colours work very well online and are easily discernable. These colour variations helps the viewer of the site to consciously and sub consciously be aware of transition from one channel to another, additional colours, where considered appropriate, will be used.  Text on the site, is normally, black on a white background, but for dramatic effect we use white text on a black background on our F1 site.
