If you are anything like me, making a list is a source of comfort and joy, the notion of categorising, noting down, thinking and deciding and then joy of joys being able to tick off my list the things that I have done.
Such a process is easy when we are considering shopping or tasks of the day, but so much harder, and yet so much more fun when we consider the places we wish to visit or the things we want to do before it is too late.

With such in mind it is a continued source of regret that I did not fly on Concorde and whilst my trip on the AirBus A380 was exhilarating, I fear it does not match what I would have imagined the experience of Concorde would have been.
In our ever changing world perhaps we should all seize the moment, take the opportunities when offered and not just have a list, but actually get to see some of these things. Thus, we at afterabc have decided to create our own list of 25 places to visit before we die; it is of course entirely subjective others could with good justification create an entirely different list and we will I am sure be continually expanding and adding. Soon perhaps we will be writing of 100 things and then 500, however, here is a list of our top 25. Not as this stage perhaps in order of priority as certainly all are fabulous. Our list will hopefully become a source of information but hopefully perhaps also a source of inspiration:

2. The Great Pyramids of Giza - Cairo, Egypt
3. Grand Canyon National Park - Arizona, USA
4. Empire State Building - New York, USA
5. Formula 1 Race - Korea

Really interesting list: I have done ten on your list and would be very keen to do most of the others. Not sure about the Virgin Galactic or the cruise… very expensive and I’m too young to sit onboard a boat for a week!
Seeing Polar Bears in their natural habitat would be fabulous, a real adventure.
I agree with most of your list, but think that some are in danger of being tourist traps.
Better perhaps, to dream about discovering the less well known destinations. However, I stayed at the Peninsula, Hong Kong and it was the best hotel experience by miles….. and the views, simply breath-taking.
I look forward to your next list, may I suggest Edinburgh, the Lake District and Barcelona.
I very much enjoyed your list and look forward to your future lists.
I would suggest Everest base camp, I very much enjoyed my time in Nepal and would definately recommend it to all.
Yes: Lake District and Barcelona, incredible places to visit. Edinburgh should not be on a list until perhaps 4,000 places to see.
Everest Base camp, wow absolutely yes!!!
I definately agree about base camp, but must agree with above regarding Edinburgh. Further may I suggest Ayre's Rock.
In our next list we will certainly include La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. Antoni Gaudi unfinished masterpiece. Everest Base Camp sounds fantastic and we are researching for inclusion in the list. Edinburgh is also dividing opinion amongst our contributors. The Lake District absolutely will be included in our list of the top 100 but may not make the top 50.
